I make my living on the computer designing, illustrating and developing multimedia and web environments. Throughout the years I've run across hundreds of websites that inspire, inform and generally make life easier. Yet, for some strange reason the sites that I consider to be my top favorites are none of those just mentioned.

The sites I love, purely entertain.. and for the most part, kill lots and lots of time. Perhaps it may be my way to unwind?.. well, that's what I just keep telling myself.

Homestarrunner is a very popular site that I've been a fan of for many years. It's filled with animation, games and off the wall humor..?It's also?clean and pretty family friendly. It's suitable for teens and guys like me who never grew up.?Be sure to see the Strongbad emails!

This site is full thousands of classic vintage advertisements and hi-resolution images you won't see anywhere else. Tons of cool cars with lots of chrome as well as iconic advertisements that give us a glimpse of how our culture was in the 40's and 50's. I have wasted hours at this site alone, but well worth it!

Simple really. Draw a series of lines, curves, jumps and obstacles. Press play, then sit back and watch an animated character follow your sketch on a sled. Sounds goofy and a waste of time?? you betcha!. The crazy part is that when I first discovered this site I easily blew 4 hours playing this. I heard that it's become so popular it will soon be on game console systems like nintendo Wii. They are also calling it an internet toy!

As much as I believe google is the devil this google application is prett amazing. It's not exactly new, but is still amazing (and scary) technology. Imagine zooming in on the Grand Canyon then flying over to Paris France to sight-see. I just hope google uses this for good and not evil!

Sure, it's bad enough wasting time watching TV from the good ol USA.. well, now you can watch TV from around the world and waste twice as much time! ;)
