| ITS NICE THAT WE WILL HAVE THE LUXURY OF ALL THESE NEW STORES AND RESTURANTS, BUT WHAT WE REALLY NEED IS A MOVIE THEATER. THE ONLY ONES AROUND IS AN EASY 15 TO 30 MINUTE DRIVE DEPENDING ON THE DAY. THE CITY OF MENIFEE OFF OF HAHN ROAD HAS ENOUGH AREA AND EASY ACCESS TO PUT A NICE CINEPLEX ACROSS OR NEXT TO COUNTRYSIDE MARKETPLACE. IT WOULD BRING IN SO MUCH REVENUE FOR THE CITY OF MENIFEE. HOW CAN WE GET A PETITION STARTED TO TRY TO GET A THEATER IN THE CITY OF MENIFEE? | |

| There is already a theater in Temecula. I doubt that a theater would bring in enough revenue to offset the time and costs involved since it would bring unwanted crime. Law enforcement would need to be on site to try and prevent problems that always arise. | |

| As a parent of a Teenager, I think that we do need some sort place where the kids could catch a movie, play some video games, go bowling do something constructive instead of hanging out behind grocery stores and getting into trouble. |

| The re-modeled Lake Elsinore theater is a good test of whether our community can support a theater or not. I hope it won\'t be too long. I don\'t like that \"increased security\" would be a consideration for NOT having more opportunities for the community. As our community grows we need more opportunities for family entertainment. If you think that means more security, imagine not having any community entertainment. | |

| I don't think it's so much "HOW CAN WE GET A PETITION STARTED TO TRY TO GET A THEATER IN THE CITY OF MENIFEE?", but rather trying to convince a merchant to open a theater here. You may want to contact the Chamber of Commerce for now, and ask them if they are soliciting theater owners to give our town a look. |

| I would really like to see a movie theatre and good dining restaurants around or nearby.. A place for live entertainment as in the Promenade Mall would be great... common builders give the city much needed entertainment and dining out.. A steak house is highly wanted by lots of folks. |

| Yes, I feel the teens should have a place to have fun. There is nothing for them to do here in town. A movie theater would be a good start and maybe an arcade. Also,consider a park with a bike trail,recreation hall that features pool tables,basketball,checkers,after school programs,pingpong etc... so the kids could have a place to play instead of in street. |

| I am new in Menifee and I would like to see a movie theatre close by instead of going down to Temecula. A bowling alley would also be great. I\'m glad that there is a variety of retail and restaurants but I would love to see a movie theatre within my community. |

WOW.. I did buy a hybrid a while back, but I think after watching Dave Ramsey's video...I'll never buy a new car on payments again. Cha-ching!!! I think parents should share the video with their teenagers. Can you imagine what kind of economy we would have in a few years if everyone just started saving money and paid cash for cars. Maybe we'll see the price of cars start dropping too.
