The Craft Fair and Chili Cookoff is a vision of Kathryn Lennertz the wife of our Pastor Steve Lennertz of Eagle Ridge Church. This event started as a small craft fair in a small room off of our church kitchen six years ago. It has now grown to the point that we really need to use our outside area for all of the vendors that come. We are excited about this.

Kathryn had a vision of starting a craft fair through Women's Ministries that would be a fundraiser for projects and expenses of the Women's Ministries such as our annual Spring Tea, Women of Faith, Beth Moore, Secret Sisters, Women's Ministries Cookbook and our Rummage Sale and our new project for Women's Missions and child care at our meetings and events.. The funds help us to be able to purchase tickets in advance for events and to help us fund projects in advance that will create funds for outreaches such as this craft fair. We are looking for new ways to bless others with the use of these funds.

The women on the Women's Ministry Teams donate all of their time and effort in the planning  and follow through of this event. They ask for nothing but that others meet Jesus and find friendship and joy in the process. Each year has been a great success due to their love, serving and giving hearts and hands.

Our real goal is to reach out into our community with events that we hope will cause people to come and meet us and have fun and find the community of love and friendship that we all need here at Eagle Ridge Church. Jesus told us to go into the world, into our communities, into our countries and to the world to share His love for all of us. This is one of our small efforts to reach each of these places. We are so thankful for the wonderful vendors that come and share in this effort with us. We want to invite all to take part in this craft fair as either a vendor,shopper or a chili cooker,or throw horse shoes or just come down and see what is going on. We want to meet everyone in our community and we hope to keep on growing in this event so that everyone will make this an annual event for their entire families.
