The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald house is very near and dear to our hearts. This special home has personally helped our family in our great time of need. They gave us a loving warm place to stay, made us feel at home and provided the needed basic necessities at a time we were not thinking of them because we were only thinking of our child. The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald house continually provide for families of sick children and is a blessing and a comfort to those near and far. My family and I received this letter below and thought we should share it with the Menifee community.

When a child is critically ill, there is no such thing as a normal day. You spend time going to doctor appointments and waiting for test results, dreading that your worst fears will come true. All too often you find yourself leaving your family and friends at home and driving to another state to seek the best medical care you can find for your child.

The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House takes care of families 365 days a year. In 2008 we have served more than 1,100 families who needed our help the most. The house staff and volunteers become a source of hope and comfort to these families. Staying at the Ronald McDonald House allows parents to remain close to the hospital and receive home cooked meals provided by volunteers, transportation to and from the hospital and support from other families experiencing similar situations with their own children.
