Valentine's Day is upon us. If you don't believe me, simply open your eyes to all of the television commercials, grocery and department stores ads that inform us that it's time again to show him or her that we love them by buying one of thier shiny new products.

Sure, I may sound cynical but deep down inside I really do want to show my wife I love her on this special day - Due to my lack of sensitivity I've made lots of mistakes in the past when it comes to buying the wrong gift for her. I even forgot her birthday one year.. Yikes! - In spite of my past failures the good news, is my wife still loves me and I've learned how to be more sensitive along the way.

Before I proceed with the top 5 Valentine Gift ideas, I would like to thank Jim Justice for submitting a story idea to help inspire this Valentine's Day article.

I was looking online at Ebay for something interesting for my wife for valentines and just when I thought I had seen it all I came across something intersting. There is a young girl that is selling a custom website for someone to give to their valentine, and you get the title of World's most romantic Valentine. Anyway I thought it was a cute idea, kinda like some of those guys who buy bill board signs for their loved ones.

In my mind I think it's common knowledge that women have a better sensitivity for Valentines Day and for gift giving in general. Guys on the other hand are generally clueless and need all the help they can get. Below I've made a small list of items I felt I needed to post to make it very clear to guys what NOT to get.
