Menifee City Council Candidates' Forum
by Menifee Live Staff

Menifee Califonia -- On April 30, the Menifee Valley MAC will present a Forum for candidates hoping to serve the new City of Menifee. Local residents will vote for or against "cityhood" at the election on June 3rd. If cityhood is approved, five of those candidates will be elected to the new city council.

All eighteen candidates are expected to attend the forum which will be moderated by Supervisor Jeff Stone. It will be held at the Paloma Valley High School Gymnasium, 31375 Bradley Road, about midway between Newport Road and Scott Road, and will begin at 7:00 PM.

This is expected to be the largest Candidates Forum in the area prior to the election, as the Paloma Valley Gym can hold an audience of up to thirteen hundred. Supervisor Stone will be asking questions he feels will best compare and contrast the twelve men and six women seeking the job.

The forum’s sponsor, Menifee Valley Municipal Advisory Council, holds public meetings throughout the year, bringing information on topics of local interest to residents of the area. All are welcome, there is no charge.
